Grid interfacing & home energy management system

Objectives

  1. Develop advanced grid interface systems for robust and reliable operation of ReNaG, considering interaction with internal converters and with other nanogrids.
  2. Develop energy management and monitoring systems considering both internal and external constraints (value of battery ageing, production and load forecasts).

Tasks

  • Develop grid interfacing algorithms for ReNaGs
  • Develop energy management and monitoring algorithms considering actual and forecasted energy consumption and production and battery ageing.

Roles of participants

Design of grid interface algorithms; Design of EMS and monitoring - Technical support for experimental validations.
